Refectory Food Service Renovations – St. John’s University

Project Description: Breitbach Construction Co. provided Construction Manager At-Risk services for the renovation of the Saint John’s University-Refectory Dining Renovation project.  This space sits on the main floor of the Quadrangle Building which was completed in 1886.  The desire was to maintain some of the historical features of the space, including exposed brick and stone walls, while bringing other facets such as the food service equipment, flooring, lighting, and furniture up to modern standards.  Due to the team approach used, we were able to successfully complete the renovation of the Refectory Dining facility, including food preparation and dining spaces in only three months during summer break.
