Project Description: As the General Contractor, Breitbach Construction Co. managed the construction of a new 63,450 SF, 2-story clinic attached to the existing 2-story hospital as well as a 28,900 SF in-patient hospital addition.  The project required completion in multiple phases, as the new clinic had to be complete before the hospital addition began.  Once the clinic was operational, the old clinic was demolished to allow space for the hospital addition.  Throughout construction, we had to keep all existing areas of the clinic and hospital operational.  Particular attention was given to the scheduling of work in the connection points as well as the relocation of site utilities to minimize impact on Pipestone County Medical Center.
